Come on my journey as I bake my way through the cookbooks lightly covered in dust on my bookshelf, and try to find treats for my food-inhibited and fearful fiancé who used to stick to straight pasta, hold the sauce.
No longer living the grad school night class lifestyle after what seems to be a never ending 9-5, I have all the time in the world! Why not bake my nights away without paper deadlines, tests and class to ruin it all? This blog will exhibit my growth pains through trying to perfect my baking (and eventually) decorating skills, while also sharing my adventures through some of my favorite bakeries and discovering new ones. Food Network has created a monster in me and I am finally ready to embrace it!
